Roberto Charles was raised in Montreal. He graduated from Dawson Community College and is currently a U3 Pharmacology student. Roberto discovered his interest in the research done in the Bowie lab through the neuropharmacology class PHARR562 where he was captivated by the topic of ionotropic glutamate receptors. This newfound interest has incited Roberto to enroll in a PHAR 396 course supervised by Dr. Bowie where he will investigate the evolution of the synapse through his analysis of multiple organisms and their synaptic particularities.
